“Let us pray that the judgment of the tribunal will be acceptable to all the parties involved, and that peace will not be disrupted in the state,” Dr. Ukafia said while leading the congregation through a prayer session during second service on Sunday at Insight Bible Church, 227 Nsikak Edouk Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
“Let the will of God alone be done at the tribunal, and let there be peace in Akwa Ibom State,” Ukafia prayed.
The congregation prayed along with the pastor. The prayer session lasted for a few minutes, says Think Akwa Ibom! correspondent who witnessed the service.
The tribunal had concluded its proceedings on Thursday with the adoption of written addresses from counsels to the parties involved in the case filed by the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Mr. Umana Okon Umana challenging the election of Mr. Udom Emmanuel of the Peoples Democratic Party as governor, Akwa Ibom State.
“No election known to law, no election known to mankind, no election known to civilization was conducted in Akwa Ibom State,” counsel to Mr. Umana Okon Umana, Chief Wole Olanipekun had said during on Thursday during his final submission before the tribunal.
