Ex-Bayelsa gov Alamieyeseigha dies of hypertension – Punch newspaper

A former Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, has died of hypertension, says a news report published in the Punch newspaper.

The paper which didn’t provide details reports that former Bayelsa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Ebitimi Agary, has confirmed Alamieyeseigha’s death.

Late Dr. Idiong, according to a family statement, will be buried on Saturday, 19 September, 2015 at his country home, Km 2 Afaha-obong – EtimEkpo Road, Nto-Otong Village, Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. Kenyan man who claimed to be ‘god’ and Jesus Christ his son reportedly dies of malaria

A newspaper in Kenya reported that local authorities have confirmed the controversial spiritual leader, Jehovah Wanyonyi is dead.

One report alleged that Mr. Wanyonyi, 91, died of malaria on July 18, 2015.

“Jehovah Wanyonyi was a self-proclaimed god who lived in Chemororoch village in Uasin Gishu County, western Kenya. He claimed to be the Almighty God and deemed Jesus Christ to be his son,” according to information published about him on Wikipedia.

Wanyonyi had many wives and more than 95 children. He had about 1,000 followers.
